If you think you would like to join our team as a Carer we would help with plenty of training if necessary up to NVQ level and your job role would include:

Meal Preparation
Good food, well prepared can be a huge boost to wellbeing and quality of life.

Medication

Personal Care
Giving a hand for bathing, toileting and dressing.

Errands
Some people are no longer able to get about as much as they used to and may need help with groceries or going to the post office.

Clinical Care
Some people may have more complex clinical care needs and you may be needed to help qualified nurses to make sure of a successful outcome.

Household Duties
Help may be needed for dusting, laundry and maintaining a clean environment for some who are finding it difficult to do so.

Companionship
Sometimes the important thing is to provide friendly company, maybe a cup of tea, a chat or help with a puzzle.

Pet care
Due to infirmity some customers can no longer take care of their pets and so it may be appropriate to take their life-long furry friend for the occasional walk or top up their water bowl.

Mobility Assistance
If a client is suffering from an age-related disability or a limited medical condition, they may need more assistance around the home, particularly getting in and out of bed or visiting the bathroom. If special equipment is needed you will, if necessary, be given training on its use.
